Manliest Video of 2010

Ink & Dagger Tattoo’s Man Day 2010 Sponsored by Steadfast Brand. Coverage by TattooSnob.com from Tattoo Snob on Vimeo.

Nobody loves Road Trips more than Steadfast!!!

And we mean Nobody!

On Friday the Steadfast crew piled into a Tahoe and headed toward Atlanta for Ink & Dagger Tattoo’s 2nd Annual Man Day.  The short 8 hour drive ended with a stop over at Ink & Dagger just to say hi to everyone who came in for the event.  After our little visit we headed over for some good eats at R. Thomas Deluxe Grill.  Who doesn’t love a 24 hour dinner full of healthy and delicious choices?

The next morning was officially Man Day.  Ink & Dagger was open from noon to 4 pm tattooing everyone for $50 -anything on the special Man Day flash sheet.  What was on it you ask?  A few highlights included a weight-lifting mustache, mounted jackalope buck head, Popeye the Sailor Man, Cigar, Pirate, Barber pole & Shears, and our personal favorites: a Steadfast Compass & Infinite Tattoo Machine!

After the tattooing was through, everyone headed over to Twain’s Billiards & Tap for limited edition “Man Day Brew” and hours of entertainment.  We won’t bore you with the dirty little details of the delightful burlesque performances by Blast-Off Burlesque throughout the night or daring doings of Captain Stab-Tuggo or even the amazing prizes won on the Wheel of Destiny!

What else did you miss out on?  Only the Hella-Hot Wing Throwdown, Arm Wrestlin Showdown, Manliest Beard Face off,  Manliest Mustache Death Match, Beer Gut Pageant, Sexiest Back Hair, Handyman Challenge, and the one that made our night: Bobbing for Lobsters.

Needless to say we had a great time and would like to show some love to the Ink & Dagger crew, Myke Chambers, Tyson McAdoo, TattooSnob.com, Two Arms IncMindzai, Rutabaga Salon & Boutique, Prick Magazine, and a very, very special thanks to Infinite Irons for making the stunning – and manly- Man Day Metals!

Where are we headed next?  New York City for Tattoo Society’s 4th Annual Romel Awards at Santos Party House!

New design, party coming up in Atlanta and a treasure hunt….sort of.

Hello everyone!  Long time no talk.  We have been busy setting up our new offices here in Orlando and working on several new designs.   We have Russ Abbott’s Man Day party in Atlanta coming up on August 14th as well.  It’s a great time so come out!  Here is our Pirate Girl design that we did with Jime Litwalk of Hart and Huntington.  The original artwork is bad ass on it’s own but we wanted to fill the shirt out so we added the latitude and longitude lines to pull it off.  The compass isn’t our signature design but we like using variations when we can.  The lat and lon numbers actually

mark locations.  If you figure them out and email us at chris@steadfastbrand.com we will send you out a finders reward.  It’s our version of a treasure hunt.

XFC 10 Night of Champions Bruce Connors is Back in Action!

We are off to Tampa to watch our fighter Bruce Connors tonight!

In Bruce Connors’ fight back to title contention, Derek Schiffer is the next opponent that stands in his way. Derek is a decorated grappler with gold medals from Abu Dahbi, US Open, as well as an NCAA D-1 Wrestler and a Purple Belt in BJJ. On Friday, March 19th at the St. Pete Times Forum we will see how these two skill sets measure up.

Bruce’s brother Andrew will also be making his way to the cage that night in his pro debut against a talented young fighter from Tampa, Jean Colon.  Andrew hopes to show the XFC fans that fighting runs in the blood.
