The Orlando Tried and True Tattoo Expo, in collaboration with Universal Orlando® Resort, bring you two great events to help you enjoy all Orlando has to offer! The opening day of our Tattoo Expo, Thursday May 6th, 2010 at the Rosen Centre open from 6pm till 10pm, will wrap up with everyone going to Universal CityWalk® to the amazing Red Coconut Club® for a night of music, drink specials, and the intro to our art show featuring the Steadfast Brand Artist Signature Series artists and many others showing their original artwork for your pleasure.

Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (May 7-9) will be all about the Tattoo Expo held at the Rosen Centre on I-Drive! The hours are listed below. Come down and see some of today’s most talented tattoo artists and get the new tattoo you have always wanted! On-site entertainment, music, food, and art for viewing and sale will keep you busy all weekend long! Several seminars featuring studies in tattooing, photography, machine building, drawing, painting, and more are offered throughout the weekend.
You must be 18 or over to be tattooed, but the tattoo expo is open to all ages! Our kid’s corner has a variety of entertainment for the whole family and kids of all ages including face painting, temporary tattoos, and coloring contests. A licensed daycare service will be provided on premises for your convenience.

Monday after the show is when Universal Orlando® has joined up to give you the real central Florida experience. On our site you will see an exclusive afternoon ticket product not available anywhere else for attendees of the Tried and True Tattoo Expo! Steadfast Brand is busy gearing up for this year’s Tried and True Tattoo Expo in Orlando, FL on May 6-9, 2010.  The show will be held at the Rosen Centre on International Drive.  Reservations are available at the special rate of $109 a night from May 3rd to May 12th allowing extra time for a Florida vacation!  Just call (800) 204-7234 and mention the Tried and True Tattoo Expo.

Tattoo Contests will be held daily.  Categories will include Large & Small Color, Black & Grey, Traditional, Portrait, Best Sleeve, Worst Tattoo, & more!  Open to all ages at $10 per entry.  If you get a tattoo at the show and would like to enter that piece in Tattoo of the Day, entry is FREE!!!

Live Music, an Art Gallery, and After Parties will be some of the additional entertainment in the show.  Inked Magazine will also be providing a pool side Luau Bar all three days of the show.

Jime Litwalk’s Simplicity for Longevity Seminar

Jime will put the main emphasis of his seminar on drawing/sketching. As the title indicates, he wants to put the focus on the simple construction of his designs: clearly visible structures without unnecessary or confusing elements. The seminar’s aim is to show a way for every individual artist to improve their style through clarity an simplicity.

Jime will explain the path from idea, to sketch, and right to the finished design. Emphasis on the buildup of the lines, shades, and colours creating the realization of the design within the tattoo.

It’s recommended to bring drawing equipment with you.

Course Length: 2-3 hours

Russ Abbott’s Color Theory for Tattooists Seminar

In this inspiring course, Russ Abbott will take you past the color wheel to a deeper understanding of a tattooist’s palette. Using examples from his own work, Russ will explain a variety of color secrets that will help make your work more interesting and effective.
