Whether you know him or not, love him or hate him, there is no doubt that Aaron is a case study in self-branding and industry relations. This is a great industry that has lost some of the characters that the oldtimers seemed to embody. Aaron is a great promoter, talented artist, and will always be remembered as a rainbow of color in an industry that sometimes just needs to have a good laugh with good friends. Love you buddy and all the best! See you in Philly!

“WHERE TATTOO AND SOCIAL NETWORKING MEET, AND WHY IT IS SO IMPORTANT”
The Aaron Is.. “comprehensive blending of social interaction and tattoo skill to make you cooler” workshop.
This class will be 2-3 hrs and is dedicated to the new, up and coming, socially inept, or just plain shy artist wanting to learn some technical tips of tattoo and some ways to become more involved in the “tattoo scene”, whether it be meeting other artists, magazine staff, or just new clients….knowing how to present yourself sometimes means more than your portfolio.
This workshop is going to cover the basics of communication, networking and using your own personality and confidence to bring you and your tattooing to an entirely new place. While I will be demonstrating my techniques and tips on my own photo-realism style of tattoo, I will also be discussing the huge importance of being who you are openly, and realizing/embracing your actual skill level and how to develop the added skills to move ahead in the grand scheme to ensure that you see and enjoy the full benefits of this trade.
Understanding the importance of the actual tattooing is one step, and knowing how to interact and use who you are to excel in this field socially is something most artists leave to chance. A great tattoo artist is just that, but once the ability to take advantage of public and private social interaction is added properly to the mix, the possibilities almost immediately opened up as do the opportunity for new and greater experiences. The convention circuit provides an amazing platform for this, and I can help you understand how to use this platform to the fullest. These are all things that will be covered and are usually never addressed at all, and if so are looked at in a poor light. Humble and quiet is nice, but one thing I have learned in my experience, it is not always memorable.
